Strategy-to-Delivery Review
Find out exactly where strategy is failing to convert into delivery.
Before you can fix the gap between strategy and execution, you need to know precisely where it is. The Strategy-to-Delivery Review is a focused diagnostic that does exactly that — quickly, clearly, and with enough rigour to justify what you do next.
Two versions. Same starting point. Scoped to what your organisation actually needs.
Something is getting lost. You need to know what.
-
The strategy made sense when you built it. Execution is getting heavier, not easier.
-
Decisions land in the room and reopen outside it. Progress is slower than it should be.
-
You suspect the issue is structural — but you don't have the evidence to act on it yet.
-
The board or your investors are starting to ask questions about pace and delivery confidence.
-
You need a clear picture of what's actually happening before you commit to a bigger intervention.
The S2D Review gives you that picture. And it tells you what to do about it.
Two starting points. Both lead to clarity.
Where you start depends on how much you already know and how quickly you need to act.

Path 1
Pressure Audit
A single focused session that identifies where pressure is landing and what to protect.
Fast, sharp, and evidence-based. For organisations that need a rapid read before committing to a deeper intervention.
-
One day on-site with senior leaders
-
Structured diagnostic conversation
-
Identifies top pressure signals
-
Names the specific structural risks
You walk away with: a one-page output naming where the pressure is sitting and what your clearest next step is.

Path 2
Full S2D Review
A comprehensive diagnostic that maps the root cause of why the strategy isn't converting into delivery. For medium and large organisations where the gap is systemic, and the board needs board-ready findings.
-
6–8 weeks
-
Stakeholder interviews across leadership layers
-
Meeting observations and structural analysis
-
Full written diagnostic report
-
Facilitated board or exec presentation
You walk away with: root cause of the strategy-to-delivery gap identified, mapped, and presented with structural recommendations.
Not sure which starting point is right?
If you've already been through the Executive Pressure Index, your EPI result will have pointed you toward one of these. If not — a short conversation is usually enough to work out which one fits your situation.
As a rough guide: if you need a quick read and a clear next step, start with the Pressure Audit. If your investors or board need a rigorous evidence base before you can act, the Full Review is the right call.
What the review leads to
The S2D Review is a diagnostic, not an end point. What it produces is clarity — on where the gap is, what's causing it, and what the organisation needs to do about it.
For most organisations, the natural next step after the review is the Strategy to Delivery Leadership Programme — a 90-day intervention that takes the findings and fixes what the diagnostic identified, with the leadership team that has to make it work.
What makes this diagnostic different
Most strategy reviews produce a report. This one produces a decision.
The S2D Review is designed by someone who spent 20 years as the Director of Transformation, accountable for making strategy land in complex, high-scrutiny organisations. Not advising from the outside. Inside — absorbing the pressure, making the decisions, fixing what wasn't working.
That means the diagnostic isn't just academically rigorous. It's built around the signals that actually predict delivery failure — the ones that show up in the room before they show up in the numbers.
Start with a conversation
Most S2D Review engagements begin with 30 minutes. No proposal until we both know which path is right and what it needs to cover.
