Why Are Values Important?

Understanding your personal values is really important and this 2hr workshop provides faciliated coaching activites to explore what is important to you, to aid life, career and relationships direction:

  • They act like a compass, to navigate you forward
  • They help us to get unstuck when we don’t know what to doWhen things that you do and the way you behave match your values, life is usually good
  • When they don’t align that’s when this feels wrong and a real source of unhappiness
  • They help us understand what is needed to build effective relationships and trust
  • They help create a meaningful life, by shaping what really matters to you and give your life deeper meaning
  • They are a great set of principles that can guide prioritises and decisions
  • Values are usually stable, yet they don’t have strict limits or boundaries
  • For example, when you start your career, success is measured in money and status. Later,It might be a top priority, but things like family, work-life balance may be what you value more. As your definition of success changes, your personal values don't but they do help realign your priortise


The workshop has limited space  to ensure everyone gets valuable time to explore in depth what their values are, how to priortise them and where further alignment is needed to meet them:
